Russell Hunt

Starting his apprenticeship at 15, Russell holds over four decades of experience installing carpet and vinyl in both domestic and large scale commercial settings. Having spent so many years in the flooring industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding for each customer’s needs. Russ spends his time between installing and providing measures and quotes.

Sam Hunt

Overseeing the office and showroom, Sam will generally be your first point of contact at Qld Flooring. Managing the business for the past 5 years, as well as having spent time installing alongside Russ and Tom, Sam has a wide range of product knowledge and strives to provide the best possible service. She will be there to help with product and colour selection, and to answer any questions you may have leading up to your installation, ensuring your experience from quote to completion runs smoothly.

Tom Hunt

Growing up watching Russell's work, Tom quickly found an interest in flooring and has now been installing for over 10 years. Tom prides himself on his attention to detail and is a perfectionist in his trade, going above and beyond to ensure our customers are left with a high end finish that will last for decades to come. Tom is our primary installer, and will be out each day overseeing all of our installations, as well as providing measures and quotes.

Zion Poi-Smith

A friend of the family, Zion has quickly become an intergral part of the Qld Flooring team. Zion has been installing with us for over 3 years, perfecting his trade alongside Tom and Russell. He carries with him a strong work ethic and assiduous attitude towards his work, taking great care to ensure our jobs are completed to the highest standard.
