Commercial Vinyl Flooring

Commercial sheet vinyl generally comes in 2 metre wide rolls and is used for all commercial applications. Joins are thermo-welded to provide a perfect seal. There are two types of commercial sheet vinyl. The first being homogenous – this is where the pattern is all the way through the product making it extremely tough and hard-wearing and is normally used in all commercial common areas such as medical centres, kindergartens etc. The second being heterogeneous – this has a comfort layer built-in and a pattern layer on the surface which means you can have various patterns and is generally used where hard-wearing vinyl is required with a more up-market look. Safety Vinyl (non-slip) can fall into both categories and is designed for areas where safety is a priority (commercial kitchens, wet areas etc).
